DTU National Food Institute has a flat structure with approximately 375 employees, corresponding to about 330 FTEs. Research activities are focused within 14 research groups.
In addition, the Institute has four support units:
- The Academic Support supports the academic work within research, scientific advice, innovation and education - including data support, study administration, quality assurance, and occupational health and safety coordination.
- Research Promotion assists with applications, contracts, and project administration.
- The Institute Secretariat helps with administrative system support, management support, on- and offboarding as well as coordination in relation to buildings, procurement, IT, events and communication.
- The Service Unit provides laboratory service and is responsible for many different service tasks for several institutes at DTU.
