Strengthened focus on multidrug-resistant bacteria in Africa
DTU National Food Institute is assisting African countries in strengthening antibiotic resistance surveillance and reducing inappropriate antibiotic use. The project, named SeqAfrica, has launched the second phase of its work in Sub-Saharan Africa with a £3.6 million (DDK 31 million) grant from the United Kingdom Department of Health and Social Care’ Fleming Fund.
